"IT WAS SO AMAZING TO SEE MY CHILD, WHO CRIED HER WHOLE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, PERFORM ON STAGE. SHE GREW FROM SOMEONE WHO PANICKED TO SOMEONE WHO LITERALLY STOLE THE SHOW. NOW SHE'S IN COLLEGE AND IN FRONT OF THE TELEVISION CAMERA. CONFIDENT. A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PERSON." - DIANA C., PARENT OF THREE TPS GRADUATES

The Arts at Tuxedo Park School

The fine and performing arts infuse the Tuxedo Park School campus with art, music, and drama. All students in Preschool through Grade 9 take art and music classes throughout the year. The McClean Music Room, Davis Theater, and the Feiner Art Studio provide richly equipped spaces for art and music classes. Elective programs in Upper School offer our older students the opportunity to follow their artistic interests in greater depth. The annual art show provides a venue to showcase work from each student in the school. Our fall drama production for students in Grades 7-9 and our spring musical theater production for students in Grades 5-9 provide an authentic stage experience. Lastly, students in Grades 4-9 participate in band and choral ensembles and perform concerts each winter and spring.
