April 7th is the next fused glass workshop for adults and children. This can be taken as a one-time class to make simple projects, or used as an ongoing opportunity to delve into the many artistic possibilities of fused glass. Fused glass could be compared to quilting or applique (with heat). Colored glass is pieced together to form patterns or abstract motifs, both complex and simple. Alternatively, like applique, it can be an image on its own. The class will meet from 10:00 am until 1:30 pm on Saturday and it includes a potluck lunch. The cost is $60.00 per person.
