Our annual benefit was a huge success thanks to everyone in the TPS community who came dressed and ready to party like Gatsby!
This success was not just happenstance—it was born from an idea, a vision, a plan, and a great deal of hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm from the auction chairs, Courtney Vasseghi and Lisa Ullman. Their dream to bring the party back to Blairhame and celebrate TPS at home could not have been achieved without the tremendous support of this incredibly caring community. And, even though he does not like to be publicly thanked, we would be remiss in not acknowledging the powerhouse that is Mr. Michael Vasseghi. His love for TPS, his good nature, and his financial acuity (combined with his drive to succeed!), complemented the creative energy surrounding Gatsby at Blairhame.
We extend our sincere thanks to Mary Anne Durante for her creative vision and for turning a school gym into a classy speakeasy space, and to Dawn Angney Kress, journal chair, for her drive, focus, and great success! Thank you to Jen Utley, Glenda Coughlin, and Chris Peverly for securing the best silent auction items ever and thank you to Jen Jenkins, best auctioneer ever, who brought the house down and brought in the funds!
To our wonderful community of volunteers - our sincere thanks for your great generosity, whether you offered an item for auction, bought wine, underwrote a faculty member (or bought a faculty table!), bid on live and silent items, raised your paddle for the Blairhame Restoration project, helped decorate and set-up for the party, came to the party, or offered your support in any way. We are humbled, we are thankful, we are joyous!
