Arts

The fine and performing arts infuse the Tuxedo Park School campus with art, music, and drama. The McLean Music Room and the Feiner Art Studio provide well-equipped classrooms for art and music classes. The Kathryn Davis Performing Arts center, specially designed for young performers, provides the appropriate setting for plays, musicals, and recitals.

All students in pre-K through grade 6 take art and music classes throughout the year. Co-curricular programs in Upper School offer advanced students the opportunity to follow their academic interests in greater depth. The annual art show provides a venue to showcase work from each student in the school. Our spring musical theater production, for students in grades 5-9, provides authentic stage experience. Lastly, students in grades 5-9 participate in band and choral ensembles and perform concerts each winter and spring.

Private individual and/or small group lessons in piano, voice, strings, woodwinds, guitar, and percussion are available at an extra cost.
