     The wind, rain, and ice of last Thursday evening stripped our glorious Linden Allée of a year’s-worth of dead wood. As I dragged these branches off into the deeper woods to allow them to decay and nourish new growth, I thought about other, more metaphorical storms that have blown through our school, our families, our nation, and the world and the debris and often the pain that those storms caused.
