Join TPS for our First Social Justice Summit: Combatting Bias
Tuxedo Park School will be partnering with Pollyanna, Inc to host a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Conference. At this challenging time in our country, this work is imperative. We hope to create meaningful conversations and action plans to support the diverse communities in our independent and public schools.
Gaining the perspectives of others is beneficial to move forward with solutions to make a difference within our schools and in the lives our students who are part of a diverse and global society. We will use this Conference to deepen the dialog on these complex issues, involve a broader community in problem solving, and share best practices.
Pollyanna’s conference emphasizes their motto “Every Voice Matters” by including all constituent groups. Each participating school will be represented as a School POD - with individuals who play a role in advancing the diversity, equity, and inclusion discussions in their school. We ask schools to send two members from each group (except Head of School):

The event will take place at Tuxedo Park School on Saturday, October 23, from 8:30AM-4:30PM. The morning will begin with breakfast and a special keynote. The balance of the morning will be dedicated to breakout discussions by constituent group, each individually facilitated. Lunch will be served, and followed by a student presentation. The afternoon breakout will focus on the individual School POD’s creating Action Plans for implementation. The day will end with a wine and cheese reception.
*Registration is limited to 15 schools. Please note early bird pricing is $1300 per school if you register before August 31, 2021. After that date, the registration fee is $1500 per school.
