Arts
At Tuxedo Park School, we provide visual arts, music education, and drama. Participating in the Arts promotes the development of motor skills, social skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, risk-taking, and creativity. It is associated with gains in reading, math, cognitive ability, and verbal skill. The Arts education at TPS is correlated to other subject areas and connects students with global cultures through historical information, primary sources, and hands-on experience.

From the vibrant student art displayed throughout the halls, to the laughter and camaraderie between students at musical practices, to the highly anticipated Upper School jazz and Junkorkestra concerts, art and creative exploration are everywhere at TPS.
Academics
Athletics
- Physical education is a critical component of our curriculum. All students from Pre-K through fifth-grade participate in PE 3-4 days a week, and all 6th-9th graders participate in mandatory athletics four days a week. Our program promotes fitness, motor skill development, sportsmanship, strategy, and cooperation.

The TPS Fund

The TPS Fund is the school's largest annual fundraising effort. Funds raised during this annual appeal accomplish two primary goals. First, these gifts provide support for the current year’s operating budget, allowing us to sustain and update curricula, offer competitive salaries to faculty, and maintain our historic 19th Century campus for 21st century learning. Secondly, the TPS Fund allows us to explore new possibilities each year for enriching our community, including new programming, added technology and professional development.
